Tools and methods for digital evidence analysis and cybercrime investigation that preserve individual privacy.

Design and acceleration of cryptographic algorithms, and protection of networks, smart cards and communications infrastructure.

Our research domains overlap in many projects. The governance and identity groups studied biometrics and identity management for homeland security applications in Saudi Arabia, and our forensics and privacy researchers work together on preserving privacy during forensic analysis.
